Shinrin Yoku is the art of taking in or immersing oneself in the forest atmosphere. It has long been recognised as a way to reconnect with nature and to help relax from the stresses and worries of everyday life. Shinrin Yoku involves mindfulness and encourages us to completely immerse ourselves in the forest atmosphere, using all our senses. Suitable for beginners, join us for this 3 session blended learning course, to experience and explore the benefits of Shinrin Yoku for yourself. Session 1 will be online and sessions 2 and 3 will be in the beautiful surroundings of Newstead Abbey near Mansfield, Notts. Please note, sessions may involve walking over uneven ground, so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. This course is subsidised as part of the Miner2Major Landscape Partnership scheme
